Nick Faber is a musician, music producer, DJ & remixer, motivated by getting results from the creative process, with proven successes in music production, record label management, artist management, media composition, sound design, music supervision, brand partnerships, artist and song development and music marketing.

Faber’s big break came when he left school at 16 and landed a job as a ‘tape op’ at Beatles-producer George Martin’s AIR Studios. In sessions with many legendary producers he learnt not only the mechanics of professional studio recording, but started to fathom how to relate to artists and how to produce the best from them.

Nick Faber has released original music on numerous indie labels including XL offshoot Rex Records, Max Lousada‘s first label Ultimate Dilemma, Wall Of Sound and Pussyfoot. He’s remixed pop royalty including Kylie Minogue, the Sugababes, Badly Drawn Boy and others and has produced records for numerous artists including X Factor finalist Sam Callahan, Betty Boo, Longy, Lakuta and John Turrell (of Smoove & Turrell).

Faber created bespoke music for worldwide advertising campaigns for Adidas, Toyota, Motorola, Kellogg’s, LG and many others. He was nominated for a D&AD award for work with directors Tokyo Plastic and scored the Grierson Award-winning documentary film ‘Bodysnatchers Of New York’.

In 2012 he soundtracked rapper Ice T’s Sundance Film Festival Official Selection documentary film ‘Something For Nothing: The Art Of Rap’, compiling and editing the commercial recordings and composing the original cues for the film.

Recently Nick Faber moved from running own production music businesses to work for music marketing agency Diabolical, crafting bold and unconventional street advertising and promotional campaigns that get under the skin of marketing weary consumers and cause a welcome disruption to the mainstream.
